On Phellodendron; the fungus is widespread in the Far Eastern Territory of the USSR, as well as in Manchuria, North Korea, and Japan. On Phellodendron amurense Rupr. — FAR EAST: Uss. (Maritime Territory). The wide distribution of the fungus probably causes considerable damage, since photosynthesis is disrupted by the premature death of the severely infected FIGURE 100.
