His administration of importantmanufacturing interests, chiefly the largewoolen mills of Rockville, marks him asa business man of much ability, and theexecutive offices to which he has beenelected in many of the leading insurancecompanies of the State make obvious theesteem in which he is held as an execu-tive. Likewise do the many other pub-lic trusts vested in him, especially thepresidency of the Rockville NationalBank, indicate that confidence in his rec-titude and honor is universal throughouthis home district, and in the city of Hart-ford, capital of the State.
