Featherstar (class Crinoidea). The featherstar is a marine invertebrate that is related to the starfish. It uses its fragile feathery arms to catch and convey microscopic plankton and detritus to its mouth at the base of its arms. The featherstar is able to move using structures called cirri on its base.
