In color it is a beautiful shade j oped themselves into tubular, funnel-shaped florets, of rosy scarlet; flowers of good size, and borne on long ; making handsome globular flower heads of unique beauty, spikes. 1 The seed oflered contains the well-known varieties in No. 5712. Per pkt. 20 white, pink, light blue, light and dark red, but also some new shades of colors, amongst which the dark red with light blue edges and the white striped with red and blue are the most striking ones. About 60 to 70 per cent, of the seedlings will reproduce themselves true from seed. As an ornamental plant and on account of its continuous bloom and its usefulness for cut flowers this novelty cannot be too highly recommended. (See illustration.) No. 5464. Pkt. 25 cts.
