Many crotons and 4-inch ferns were sold. There were more made-up baskets and boxes this year than ever lief ore. James Glass had a fine batch of pep- pers and poinsettias, the latter both in pans and for cut stock. Fred Bauer had a nice assortment of blooming plants this year. His peppers, cherries and begonias were exceptionally fine. Lohr & Fritze had just their regular cut. They do not believe in forcing much for Christmas. Their idea is to have a good regular cut.
