Central figure in the album was an unknown woman (presumably) made the captions. There she refers frequently to themselves, such as in photo RP-F-F01203-CM what I looked like in 1917. They stayed clear from the pictures except in the Netherlands, also in Suriname and the Dutch East Indies Where: it was part of the colonial establishment.
