Pier Xo. 2 has warehouse thereon 60 by 500 feet. Pier Xo. 3 has warehouse thereon 60 by 370 feet, with railroadtracks alongside. The Companys charges for storage of grain and general mer-chandise are on a parity with those of other seaboard terminals. The Girard Point Storage Company issues negotiable Ware-house Certificates for grain and merchandise actuallv in Girard Point Storage Companys Grain Elevators, and Petroleum Wharves sylvania Railroad system and is in direct communication with thegrain centers of the West. Here the Girard Point Storage Company has erected wharvesand warehouses, and two large Grain Elevators, with a view tothe better accommodation of the increasing grain and merchandisetraffic of the Port of Philadelphia. Elevator A has a storage capacity of 800,000 bushels. Elevator B has a storage capacity of 1,250,000 bushels. These elevators are among the most complete in the country,with ample depth of water, and dockage alongside for the largestocean steamers, and offer superior facilities for the expeditiousloading of the same. It will be interesting to shipowners, masters and consigneesof vessels entering the Port of Philadelphia to know, that thiscompany has at large expense, constructed and remodeled its com-modious piers at Girard Point, in order to expedite handling fullcargo
