Anti-Tory protesters shout abuse and throw plastic balls at Tory Cabinet members and other delegates at the entrance to the conference centre in Peter Street in central Manchester. A large police presence had to usher the delegates in through the main gates to the conference as demonstrators shouted “Tory Scum”.
