A press portrait of William Desmond Tayler, (born William Cunningham Deane-Tanner 1872 – 1922) movie director and actor murdered in his home 1922, causing one of Hollywood's greatest scandals. He was an Anglo-Irish-American director and actor during the silent film era. A mysterious doctor declared he died of a stomach hemorrhage but a small bullet wound was later found in his case was never solved despite a large number of witnesses & suspects being interviewed. Corruption was suspected.
