This bridge started in 1358, by Albert-le-Sage, Archduke d'Austria is remarkable by its length which is 1850 steps; It crosses the lake in its smallest width, and divides it into two unequal parts, one called Lake Superior, the other lower lake: we see in the bottom of the table part of the Alps of Schwitz and Glarus, and on The Right The Charming Isle of Uffnau, Retirement of the famous Chevalier Ulrich of Hutten who, after a very agitated life, finished peacefully his days, in 1523.
