Lagoa–Barra highway ( autoestrada Lagoa-Barra ), officially Autoestrada Engenheiro Fernando Mac Dowell. It is the connection between the neighborhood of Gavea (South Zone) and Barra da Tijuca (West Zone), being composed by the Acoustic Tunnel. Its daily flow totaling both directions is 80,000 vehicles.
