Members of the 81st Medical Group secure patients to stretchers during the National Disaster Medical System Exercise outside the 41st Aerial Port Squadron building at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Feb. 17, 2022. Keesler's Federal Coordination Center was activated and received more than 20 patients during the exercise scenario, which included the New Madrid Fault erupting, sparking an earthquake to occur in Tennessee causing extensive damage and injuring many people. Members of the 81st MDG participated in the event in order to better prepare themselves for real-world situations.
