An adult female (13,965) escapnig trom her nest, with a nursing babe ( i 3,92 i) about eight months old, clinging to her body in the position usually adopted when the mother is traveling. A young male ot two years ( i 3,964), rep- resented as aroused trom sleep and looking down trom his nest. These specimens were obtained on the Sa- dong River, Sarawak Territory, Borneo, in September and October, 1878, by the natural- ists ot an expedition sent to the East Indies by Professor Henry A.
