Oxford Brookes University School of Law, Headington Hill Hall, Oxford

Originally built for the brewer James Morrell between 1856 and 1858, Headington Hill Hall is home to Oxford Brookes University School of Law. The Hall was conceived by John Thomas who also produced designs for decorations at Windsor and Westminster. For many years the Hall was the home of Robert Maxwell whose Pergamon Press had offices nearby (now the University's Helena Kennedy Centre). At one time Ghislaine Maxwell lived here.
