Passo di Lavazè. Cavalese.

The Lavazè pass (Lavazè-Joch in German) is an alpine pass at 1,808 m , in the municipality of Varena in the province of Trento. Through the provincial road number 620 it connects the Valle di Fiemme, precisely Cavalese, with the Val d'Ega in the province of Bolzano, even if the border does not pass over the watershed, but further downstream from it, so that the pass remains under the province of Trento. The road to Passo d'Oclini starts from near the pass, the latter located in the province of Bolzano. The Lavazé pass is not just a communication route: with its 80 km of slopes, in winter it turns into one of the most renowned sports centers for cross-country skiing. Summer offers various possibilities for tourism, from trekking to roller skis and mountain biking. -----
