The foremen were thereforeprovided with snap gages for use on all Westinghouse 68and 81 armature and axle bearings sent into the shops forrebabbitting. These snap gages must be 1/64 in. less thanthe full diameter of the bearings mentioned, and anybearings over which these snap gages can be passed mustbe condemned and scrapped in accordance with the dimen-sions shown in Table II.
