Eye surgery patients. Post-operative eye surgery patients, being led by relatives, returning to a medical clinic in Lakipia, a remote rural region of Kenya. At the clinic, the bandages will be removed and they will find Âout Âif Âtheir eye operations have been a success. Common and debilitating eye conditions in this Âarea Âinclude cataracts Âand trachoma infections, Âboth of which can be treated relatively easily and cheaply, Âbut can lead to blindness if not treated. Photographed as part of work by the UK charity MEAK (Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya).
