Former leader of the Conservative party Iain Duncan-Smith was allegedly assaulted by several protestors as he walked back to his hotel in central Manchester. The protestors had followed Mr Duncan-Smith from the demonstration outside the conference when one put a traffic cone on his head. Three protestors have been detained by police. (c) Dave Johnston
