Cigarette card with illustration of Rudolf Caracciola's Mercedes Benz. He won the Italian Grand Prix in 1937 at an average speed of over 81 mph. The card was part of an old set of cigarette cards from WD and HO Wills, Bristol and London. The set is entitled 'Speed'. These cards were given away singly in packets of cigarettes in 1938. They were (and are still) popular collector's items - vintage nineteen thirties graphics for editorial use only.
