Taktshang or Tigers Nest above the Paro valley, Bhutan
Taktshang or Tigers Nest is 900 meters above the Paro valley and the sacred essence was the Dubkhang, the holy cave in which Guru Rinpoche meditated in 8th century. The main monastery around the Pelphug in Taktshang was constructed in 1692 by the great fourth Desi (governor) Tenzing Rabgye between 1961-1965. However, what is most important is that people should avoid that superstition and doubt and place their faith in Guru Rinpoche and the triple gem.
