It is proba-hly the oldest house in Franklin, built at least 175 vears ago. Its GENEALOGICAL NOTICES. 253 interior shows its great antiquity, and that it was erected to be adefense against Indian attacks. 4. Ensign Joseph married Hannah Fisher, L)th January, MAJUK MOSES KXAPP S UOMESTEAD. He died 18th February, 1818. They had : 7, Moses, born 8thNovember, 1752; Susa ; Joseifli, married Hannah Whiting ; Abi-gail ; Amos, Captain, married Melatiah Everett, of AVrentham ;Peter (see biographical sketches). 6.
