"Sethera", (detail), with perched robin. Outdoor sculpture by Reece Ingram, 1998. Grizedale Forest Park, Europe.

The title of this sculpture "Sethera" is an allusion to the ancient cumbrian dialect method of counting sheep, which went, Yan, Tyan, Tethera, Methera, Pimp, Sethera, Lethera, Hovera, Dovera, Dick. These names correspond to One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten. The sculpture "Sethera" features four wooden sheep, so there is a question as to why the artist chose the name.
