Spanish Salomon running team mates Iker KARRERA ARANBURU (R) and Tofol CASTANER BERNAT (L) run into Chamonix town centre to take a joint 2nd place in the UTMB. The race takes the runners through 3 alpine countries (France, Switzerland and Italy), over many high mountain passes for a total of 163km of running and 9600m of height gain total while circumnavigating the Mont Blanc massif. The race is conducted in semi-autonomy with only a few stops for food and water. It is run for 2 nights and 2 days. The first runners reached Chamonix in under 21 hours.
