By 1993 all of the remaining operation 73/0 JAs were allocated to a 'restricted use' infrastructure pool and so sightings of them at work on the mainline were rare. This scene at London Victoria on the 24th March 1993 is therefore rather unusual. 73005 'Mid Hants Watercress Line' is waiting to depart with empty Venice Simplon Orient Express stock back to Stewarts Lane after the days excursion to Bristol.
