The farm descended tohim by inheritance, though his father, Timothy, from hisgrandfather Richard Townsend 2nd, who purchased itin 1717. She united with the Reformed (Dutch)church at Brookville, October 5th 1844, and on comingto Mineola after her marriage united with the Presbyte-rian church at
