In Lonjsko Polje nature park nowadays indication signs show tourists how this traditional landuse is functioning and the connection to nature conservation. Die Flussauen der Save werden von den Bauern noch heute so bewirtschaftet, wie es im Mittelalter überall in Mitteleuropa üblich war. Heute zeigen Hinweistafeln im Naturpark Lonjske Polje Touristen, wie diese traditionelle Landwirtschaft funktioniert und welche Zusammenhänge mit dem Naturschutz bestehen.
