Ph.] 11 [Oct 1878 PRENTISS DRUGGISTS ALCOHOL RECLAIMER AND EXTRACT This apparatus which has been pronounced by many scientific gentlemen the best pharma-ceutical still ever introduced, is made in the most accurate manner, of tinned copper with brassfittings. It consists of a boiler A, with an opening fuur inches in diameter at the top. A tubularcolumn B, one foot hiuh, soldered to a plate which is screwed into a fitting in the opening of theboiler A, and has a removable screw cap upon its upper end. A connecting pipe C ; a condenserD, with an inlet for watar at E, and an outflow for the same at F. Also a spout G for the outflow ofthe distillate. The diaphragms 1, 2 and 3. In figure 2 the set of diaphragms No. 1 is shown inplace in the column. SPECIAL ADVANTAGES. Being made with screw joints, prevents any escape of vapor, and renders it very easy to setup or take apart. No packing or luting is necessary. The worm being flat, only nine incheslong, and perfectly smooth inside, can be cleansed by simply steaming for a few minutes, andthen rinsing out. Th
