General Wade's bridge and the river Spey at Garva in the Scottish highlands


Garva bridge was constructed by General Wade in 1731 and carries the military road from Dalwhinnie to Fort Augustus via the Corrieyairack Pass. The proposed Beauly to Denny 400kV overhead power line passes through this valley.
