The altar of the Upper Church at the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, Huesca Province, Aragon, Spain. The monastery dates from the 10th-11th centuries. The chalice on the altar is said to be a copy of that used at the Last Supper. Legend says that the original was hidden in the monastery. The flag belongs to the Brotherhood of the Knights of San Juan de la Peña, a religious organization founded in 1950 to support the monastery and its spiritual ideology.
