A fragment of a Roman Guisborough/Theilenhofen(?) type helmet, 2nd/3rd century Tinned brass. Decorated with a triple-arched columned hall in relief, with an armoured Mars standing under the central arch with helmet, round shield, and spear, flanked by an eagle bearing a laurel wreath in its beak on each side.
