On the right a banana plant in bloom, and Apollo, who holds a torch in his left hand and lifting the veil of Diana with his right hand. With his feet he trambles the dragon of untruth, a reference to the counterfeit Hydra in Hamburg who had exposed Linnaeus on his journey to Holland as a deceure. On the right in the foreground two putti with a thermometer and a spade.
