Southport, Merseyside, UK. 16th November, 2017. Volunteer at Martin Mere Wetland Centre distributes wheat feed to myriad flocks of Shelduck, migrant wild ducks, waders, and other wildfowl at 3pm. The autumn swan feeds have been shortlisted in the Lancashire Tourism Awards in the Best Visitor Experience category. Goose migration is well underway and there are now 2000 Pink-footed Geese roosting on the reserve.
