A Bambi bucket device hangs from a Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment near Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, April 8, 2021. This bucket is designed to hold up to 2,000 gallons of water which is released by the helicopter crew for aerial firefighting. The routine air to ground firefighting interoperability training was conducted in order to enhance readiness, strengthen partner nation response capabilities and enhance their ability to respond to crises throughout Central America.
