A memorial to the men of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers at Dantzig Alley British Cemetery.
Dantzig Alley British Cemetery contains just over 2000 burials and commemorations relating to the First World War. It is located near the village of Mametz which is approximately 8km east of the town of Albert. The inscription on this memorial reads: "Erected by the Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Men of the 14th (S) Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers (38th Welsh Division) in memory of their comrades. The inscription is carved in both the Welsh and English languages. The memorial also contains some verse from the Welsh poet Hedd Wyn who was killed at Ypres on 31st July 1917.
