Tiger Horse herd runs across tall grass meadow with misty mountain range in background. Tiger horses are gaited, spotted trail horses with a coat color much like the Appaloosa. The modern Tiger horse is a reconstruction of an ancient breed thought to have originated on the Iberian Peninsula. The Tiger Horse is the common ancestor of Appaloosa, Knabstrupper and Noriker horses.
