Diagram of the solar system according to Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707-1783). The diagram shows the Sun at the centre, orbited by the planets up to Saturn. The orbit of the comet of 1759 is also shown. Illustration by Dutch artist Jan Brandes, dated 27th February 1792.
