The ruined shell of Armadale castle, home to the clan Macdonald on the Isle of Skye. It is the central feature of the gardens.

Armadale Castle was the home to the clan MacDonald. It is now a ruin as it was destroyed by fire I think in the late 1800's? It is the central feature of the gardens and museum of the 'clan donald centre'. The old part on the left of my picture is now a walled garden and it is a popular wedding venue. The lawn you can see is big and runs to a wall overlooking the sea and the mountains of Knoydart beyond. It is a beautiful spot.
