Besides this pine with stiff leaves two together in a cluster, there are a few dwarf forms of the White Pine — Pinus Str6bus — with rather soft leaves five together in elongated sheaths. The finest of these is prob- ably Dwakp White Pine (585), var. brevif61ia, also called n^na. It is a dwarf cushion-shaped little bush rarely over 4 feet high but spreading out in a broaci flat compact tuft of glossy green spray. This is splendid for the lawn. [Seeds; twig cuttings.].
