Rather similar to Queen Charlotte in color, but it is a stronger grower, freer bloomer and has larger heads and single flowers than that variety. The cen- ter of the flower is scarlet, with a broad band of golden yellow and it produces a tine effect as a bedder. It makes a better showing than Queen Charlotte, and is very satis- factory in every way. 30c each Oucen Charlotte. 3 feet. This has been talked of more than any other Canna the past year and is surely a very distinct and showy one. The foliage is green, and the flowers are a bright scarlet, edged yellow very deeply, making a beau- tiful contrast. It is a very free * bloomer, and makes very showy beds, while its dwarf habit makes it especially desirable for edging taller sorts. While we do not by any means consider this the finest of ('annas as some seem to think, it is very desirable indeed. 30c each.
