In this photograph from August 4, 1970, a Marine from the CAP (Combined Action Program) is seen entering an enemy bunker complex armed with a flashlight and a pack of C-4 plastic explosives. The bunker had two levels, sleeping quarters, a sniping hole, and two entrances. It was over 30 feet in length and eight feet deep. This image captures the demolition disposal activities during the Vietnam War.
