Martian landscape. Sedimentary Bedrock Diversity in Terby Crater, which sits on the northern rim of Hellas Basin. Filled by sedimentary deposits, perhaps deposited by or in northeast portion of these layers have been eroded by the wind, exposing the layers. The enhanced-colour cutout is a sample of these materials, in which the different colours and textures represent different rock types. Image is less than 1 km top to bottom. North is to the right.
