Baseball—Alany new leagues were organized during thepast season which revived the national game to manv on theinactive list for years. There were ten leagues playing at thevarious parks and each had a successful season. Sundayhaseball was very popular. The attendance at these gameshave averaged around three thousand at each of the threeparks. The diamonds at all the parks were kept in verygood condition. One of the most urgents needs and one. p 10 PARK DEPARTMENT which we hope to go through with the coming year is the con-struction of bleachers at both Buttonwood and BrooklawnParks. Skaii>ig—The weather was ideal the past season, thirtydays of winter recreation was enjoyed Ijy the thousands whoparticipated in the sport. Tennis—The courts were in constant use throughout theseason from May 30th until Octol)er 15th. The addition ofnew courts enable us to accommodate all who were interestedin the game. Bozvli)ig-0)i-Tlic-Grceii—This game proved even morepopular than last year. The Green at Hazelwood Park waskept in excellent condition and was constantly in use. Teammatches were held during the season which added interest tothe sport. Picnics—The usual numl^er of picnics were held at tlievaiious parks and through the co-operation of the park keep-ers everything was done to make it possible for better resultsin making everything pleasant for the
