Morris, Henderson, read the following: REPORT ON BAPTIST ORPHANAGEBy E. C. Morris History and Purpose: The Baptist Orphanage was established on August 5, 1885,at Thomasville, N. C, where the Mills Home is presently branch of the Orphanage, the Kennedy Home, was laterestablished at Kinston, N. C, in 1914. These establishments, withthe aid of foster homes near the orphanages, care for seven toeight hundred children each year. Personnel: This year we find a number of changes in the personnel ofthe orphanage. The changes have brought forth good workersto take the places of those who have retired. Dr. Zeno Wall, onreaching the age of retirement at 68, left on August 20th for hishome in Shelby. The Board of Trustees turned to SuperintendentW. C. Reid of Kennedy Home to fill the vacancy. Mr. Reid is aman of good character, culture, experience, and consecration, andhe will, we feel, continu
