A Georgian broadsword with belt, 19th century A slightly curved single-edged blade with fullers on both sides and a double-edged point. Double fullers and etched vine decoration on each side at the base of the blade. Iron quillons with decorative brass inlays and a seated lion on the obverse side. Nielloed silver grip with an attached chain. Leather covered wooden scabbard with rich brass mountings.
