Cevapcici or Cevapi - Fast Food of Balkans

Cevapcici or Cevapi -small grilled rolls of minced meat of beef and lamb - is a popular dish in the Balkans. Usually served in a sort of bread called lepinja or somun with sliced onions . This image shows the Banja Luka Cevapi where four meat rolls stick together forming a small square brick. A small portion is two bricks in a half of a somun. A pint of beer from local brewery is almost obligatory.
