Ancient yew at junction of paths outside south porch is one of oldest in England - 1700 years old according to The Conservation Foundation, Country Living Yew Tree Campaign - with an estimated girth of 23ft. Compton Dundon, 5 miles south of Glastonbury is claimed as the Head of Gemini in the Glastonbury Zodiac.
