Incommon with all true sportsmen—Itrust I may reckon myself among them—the lust of killing, strong enough inearly youth, has departed with the years,and while I will still deliberately takeanimal, bird, or fish life whenever I con-sider the reasons sufficiently strong (as, [108] say, in the case of a hunger for tiout),the occasions when I do so are becomingrarer and rarer.
