Large ; purplish black; juicy, rich and su^ar}', with a sprightly vinous flavor. Very productive, and ripens its fruit in succession for a long time. This is the kind of which Henry Ward Beecher said, " I would rather have a tree of Downing's Everbearing Mulberry than a bed of ; His taste seems to have agreed with that of the people in mulberries, for this tree is m constantly increasing demand.
