A flintlock pistol, Johann Jakob Kuchenreuter, Steinweg near Regensburg, circa 1770. Smooth bore barrel in 13 mm calibre with gold bushed vent and copper front sight. "IOH JAC KUCHENREUTER" is inlaid in silver on the sighting flat. Silver ornamentation and three gold filled marks (Stöckel Nr. 7719 and 654) and the number "1" are on the breech. Two piece, folding iron rear sight. Iron flintlock. Single set trigger. Carved walnut stock with horn nosecap and smooth brass furniture. Original ramrod with horn tip. Length cm.
