Buster Martin is believed to be the UK's oldest employee at the age of 101. He cleans vans at Pimlico Plumbers, a London firm.
Born 1 September 1906 in France but came to England aged three months. In his lifetime he worked in both the British Army and The Royal navy as a physical training instructor. Worked in Brixton market until he was 97 and joined Pimlico Plumbers, cleaning their fleet of vans, three months before his 100th birthday. He received a lot of media attention after beating off muggers in late February 2007.
